This summer, I published an article has an open letter to and Asher, as a call to action for those with disabilities that still wish to pursue their passions. I am so honored to know that my letter is now being published as part of the school curriculum in the Philippines on learning empathy through theater.

“An Open Letter to the Usher Who Called Me the Sick Girl” will be published in a 300+ textbook for Grades 11 and 12 in the Philippines is only starting 11 & 12.

On that note, I would love to share my letter again. As I tour the country with my programs and speaking on disability advocacy, and proper accommodations for THEATRE, the question I ask you, is how does THEATRE feel the culture of empathy and empowerment for you? What does empathy mean in society, And how can we each play our part?
